Key Responsibilities

• Develop and Customize WordPress Websites: Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites according to project requirements, ensuring that they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines.
• Design and Implement Website Layouts: Create website layouts and features using themes, plugins, and custom code when necessary, ensuring that they align with our clients' branding and functionality requirements.
• Optimize Website Performance: Ensure that websites load quickly and are optimized for search engines, using tools and techniques such as caching plugins, image compression, and CDNs.
• Ensure Cross-Platform Compatibility: Ensure that websites are compatible across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices, using responsive design principles and testing websites on different devices.
• Collaborate with Designers and Content Creators: Work closely with designers and content creators to ensure that websites align with branding and functionality requirements, and that content is integrated seamlessly into the website.
• Troubleshoot and Resolve Technical Issues: Identify and resolve technical issues related to website functionality, plugins, and hosting, using problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Monitor and Maintain Website Security: Ensure that websites are secure, using tools and techniques such as security updates, backups, and malware protection.
• Integrate Third-Party Tools and APIs: Integrate third-party tools and APIs, such as payment gateways, CRMs, and analytics platforms, into WordPress websites.
• Stay Updated with the Latest Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in web development and WordPress technologies, attending conferences, workshops, and online courses to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Proven Experience as a Web Developer: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a web developer, with a focus on WordPress development.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP: Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP, with experience using these technologies to develop WordPress websites.
• Experience with Popular WordPress Themes and Builders: Experience working with popular WordPress themes and builders, such as Elementor, Divi, and WPBakery.
