Position Overview

The Partner Expert Crewmember Technology Services (CTS) Support Specialist is a remote, part-time position offering $30 per hour. In this role, you will provide comprehensive technical support to arenaflex crewmembers, identifying, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues. You will work within a collaborative team environment to ensure that all technology-related inquiries are addressed promptly and effectively, while maintaining thorough documentation of every interaction.

Reporting to the IT Support Manager, you will handle a wide range of responsibilities — from supporting communication devices and mobile phones to coordinating major incident responses and managing software rollouts. Key Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive Technical Support: Provide first and second-level technical assistance for all arenaflex equipment, applications, communication systems, and mobile devices, ensuring crewmembers can perform their duties without interruption.
  • Outstanding Customer Service: Deliver exceptional on-site and remote customer service to arenaflex crewmembers, building trust and fostering positive relationships through clear, empathetic, and professional communication.
  • End-to-End Issue Resolution: Coordinate the resolution of incidents and service requests from initial report through final closure, leveraging both internal resources and external vendors as needed.
  • System Monitoring and Maintenance: Proactively monitor and support critical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal performance.
  • Access Management: Maintain and support user access protocols, ensuring that crewmembers have appropriate permissions while upholding security best practices.
  • Software Rollout Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to facilitate smooth software package rollouts, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance activities.
  • Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with all Information Technology (IT) disciplines, including network, security, and systems administration teams, to deliver holistic solutions.
  • First-Contact Resolution Focus: Strive to resolve issues during the initial interaction whenever possible, reducing the need for escalation and improving crewmember satisfaction.
  • Documentation Excellence: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all service requests in accordance with arenaflex standards, ensuring knowledge continuity and compliance.
  • Knowledge Base Management: Regularly update and expand the internal knowledge base with the most relevant, accurate, and useful information to empower both crewmembers and fellow IT staff.
  • Incident Coordination: Coordinate responses for major incidents and outages, serving as a key communicator between technical teams and stakeholders during critical events.
  • Flexible Location Requirements: While the position is primarily remote, the successful candidate must be based in Montego Bay, Jamaica, with regular travel required to Kingston, Jamaica, for in-person team collaboration and support activities.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related responsibilities as assigned to support the evolving needs of the IT department and broader organization.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications:

  • Educational Foundation: High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate is required.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience supporting the latest operating systems, OR successful completion of the IT for Everyone certification through Coursera or a similar recognized platform.
  • Application Support Experience: Hands-on experience implementing and supporting a variety of business applications.
  • Travel Availability: Willingness and ability to undertake short-term travel up to 50% of the time as needed.
  • Valid Travel Documentation: Possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel freely throughout Jamaica and the United States.
  • US Visa Eligibility: Must be able to obtain a valid visa to travel to the United States when required.
  • Desktop Deployment Knowledge: Experience utilizing desktop deployment packages and imaging tools.
  • Legal Work Authorization: Must be legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located. Please note: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
