What You’ll Do: A Day in the Life of a Customer Experience Specialist

As a Remote Customer Experience Specialist at arenaflex, you will serve as the face and voice of our nationwide hotel, casino, and resort operations. Your mission is simple but impactful: deliver best-in-class service that makes every guest feel valued, heard, and excited about their experience. No two days are exactly alike, but here’s a snapshot of what your typical workday might look like:

  • Engage Across Multiple Channels: Communicate with players and guests via phone, live chat, and email, ensuring a seamless and consistent experience across every touchpoint. You will answer inbound inquiries, execute outbound calls when needed, and transfer calls to appropriate departments with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Become a Property Expert: Develop in-depth knowledge of our hotel and casino properties, including amenities, promotions, events, and account-related details. The more you know, the better you can serve our guests.
  • Resolve Issues with Empathy and Skill: Use internal resources and systems to view guest account statuses and histories, leveraging that information to provide personalized, effective solutions. When you don’t have an immediate answer, you’ll know exactly how and where to escalate the issue or find the right information.
  • Handle Hotel Reservations: For applicable properties, assist guests with booking hotel reservations, provide relevant property information, and address inquiries while sustaining company conversion rate expectations.
  • Deliver Exclusive Service: Provide an elevated level of customer service during every interaction that demonstrates friendliness, care, and builds long-term value in the arenaflex brand.
  • Answer Questions with Confidence: Address guest questions about our hotel properties, casino offerings, occasional digital gaming account information, and property event details — all while maintaining a positive, patient, and professional tone.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures: Adhere to internal SOPs to escalate issues to property personnel when needed, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and thoroughly.
  • Maintain Stellar Performance Metrics: Deliver exceptional results in customer satisfaction scores while demonstrating patience, professionalism, and understanding, regardless of how challenging a situation may be.
  • Collaborate with Your Team: Work closely with leaders and fellow team members to stay current on daily property updates, backend system changes, and other factors that impact the player experience.
  • Show Up and Show Out: Maintain a strong track record for punctuality and attendance — we count on each other to be there for our guests.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Because we’re a dynamic, fast-growing organization, you may be asked to take on additional responsibilities that support the team and the guest experience.

Essential Requirements

  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree, or current progress toward a college degree, preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with great phone, chat, and email etiquette. You must be able to type quickly and write with strong grammar and punctuation.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is a must — you’ll be navigating multiple systems and tools simultaneously.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to think analytically and interpret incomplete or cryptic messages, including those written by English-as-a-second-language customers.
  • Composure Under Pressure: Ability to maintain a friendly, professional disposition under heavy pressure. Some guests may be frustrated when they contact us, and they’ll let you know — your job is to turn that around with grace and empathy.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Great problem-solving skills and a heightened sense of urgency, with a passion for learning new things quickly.

  • Flexibility: Must be flexible and able to adjust to quick and demanding changes in our business and industry, including the ability to work some holidays and weekends.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, hotels, travel, or casino environments is a strong plus.
  • Technological savvy with the ability to navigate multiple tools, systems, and platforms at once.
  • Experience with reservation systems, CRM platforms, or ticketing software is a bonus.
  • A demonstrated desire to understand ways to improve guest experiences and provide the best service possible.
