Role Overview

arenaflex is seeking a seasoned Senior Engineer to lead the design, development, and delivery of high‑performance CRM customer acquisition platforms. This remote position offers the opportunity to work across multiple technology stacks—from front‑end user interfaces to back‑end distributed systems—while partnering with cross‑functional teams such as arenaflex CRM, Infrastructure, Architecture, Release Management, Application Security, and Business Product Owners.

In this role, you will be a catalyst for transformation, helping arenaflex shift from a traditional IT model to a modern, agile tech organization. You will champion best practices, mentor junior engineers, and help shape a culture of psychological safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and Build Scalable Systems: Design, develop, and maintain resilient, distributed applications that support high‑volume customer acquisition workflows.
  • Product Definition & Technical Leadership: Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, driving product definition from concept to production.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with arenaflex CRM, Infrastructure, Architecture, and Business stakeholders throughout the entire software lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and operations.
  • Design Sessions & Code Reviews: Lead architecture design workshops and conduct rigorous code reviews to elevate engineering quality across the organization.
  • Reusable Component Development: Create and maintain reusable application components and patterns that accelerate development and ensure consistency.
  • Developer Tooling & arenaflex Cloud Services: Leverage a suite of arenaflex tools—including task management, source control, CI/CD pipelines, and real‑time communication—to streamline development processes.
  • Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Coach and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning, best‑practice sharing, and continuous improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to refine development workflows, automation, and delivery pipelines, driving efficiency and reliability.

Essential Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional software development experience with at least two modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python, C#) and strong object‑oriented design skills.
  • 3+ years of experience designing and building the architecture of new and existing distributed systems.
  • 3+ years of hands‑on experience with arenaflex Cloud Services (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure equivalents) and cloud‑native architectures.
  • 2+ years of experience with open‑source frameworks and libraries.
  • Advanced understanding of DevOps concepts, continuous delivery, and infrastructure‑as‑code practices.
  • Proficiency in web service integration (REST/SOAP) and enterprise middleware (e.g., Apache Camel, Spring, Spring Boot).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead projects, interact with stakeholders, and present technical concepts clearly.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with arenaflex CRM (formerly Salesforce) standard objects, custom object creation, validation rules, and relationship modeling.
  • Knowledge of arenaflex CRM automation tools such as flows, process builders, and Apex development (including SOQL, Visualforce, Lightning Aura, and LWC components).
  • Familiarity with arenaflex CRM Customer Data Platform (CDP) concepts.
  • Hands‑on experience with modern front‑end frameworks like Flutter and React.
  • Experience building event‑driven architectures and integrating with event‑based frameworks.
  • Proficiency with arenaflex Database Solutions (e.g., MS SQL Server, Oracle equivalents) and relational data modeling.
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools, Git, GitHub, and arenaflex Cloud deployment pipelines.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Technical Depth: Ability to navigate the full stack—from UI/UX design to back‑end services and data persistence.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with a track record of diagnosing complex performance and scalability issues.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in cross‑functional, remote teams, fostering trust and shared ownership.
  • Leadership: Experience guiding technical discussions, influencing architectural decisions, and mentoring peers.
  • Adaptability: Comfort thriving in a fast‑paced, hyper‑growth environment where priorities shift rapidly.
  • Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
