Position Overview

As a North America Technical Team Data Analytics Customer Engineer at arenaflex, you will serve as the trusted technical advisor for our enterprise customers and partners. You will partner closely with technical sales teams, product managers, and engineering groups to showcase arenaflex’s data analytics capabilities, design robust cloud architectures, and guide customers through complex data migrations, governance, and real‑time processing challenges. This role blends deep technical expertise with consultative selling, enabling you to influence strategic decisions, shape product roadmaps, and deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with North American sales and technical teams to identify, qualify, and prioritize business opportunities that align with arenaflex’s data analytics portfolio.
  • Engage directly with technical stakeholders and executive leaders to uncover pain points, articulate requirements, and propose tailored solutions that address the full data lifecycle—from ingestion and transformation to storage, analytics, and visualization.
  • Design, prototype, and present end‑to‑end cloud architectures, including data warehouses, data lakes, streaming pipelines, and ELT/ETL workflows, ensuring scalability, performance, and security best practices.
  • Lead proof‑of‑concept (POC) initiatives, conduct hands‑on workshops, and provide technical guidance throughout migration projects, data modernization efforts, and analytics platform deployments.
  • Develop compelling sales messaging, whitepapers, presentations, and product demonstrations that highlight arenaflex’s unique value proposition and differentiate our solutions in competitive scenarios.
  • Partner with product management to relay customer feedback, influence roadmap priorities, and help shape future features that accelerate adoption of arenaflex’s data services.
  • Act as an internal advocate for customers, supporting bid responses, RFI/RFP processes, and solution briefings while ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
  • Continuously stay abreast of emerging data technologies, cloud trends, and industry regulations to provide forward‑looking advice and maintain arenaflex’s position as a thought leader.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 6 years of hands‑on experience designing, implementing, or supporting cloud‑native architectures in a customer‑facing or technical support capacity.
  • Proven ability to engage with and present to both technical audiences and senior executive leaders, translating complex concepts into clear business outcomes.
  • Solid foundation in Big Data technologies and concepts, including data warehousing, data processing, transformation, governance, migrations, ETL/ELT, SQL, NoSQL, performance tuning, and the distinction between batch and streaming workloads.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in technical sales, consulting, or solution engineering within cloud computing, data analytics, or Big Data domains.
  • Demonstrated expertise in architecture design, schema modeling, query optimization, and the tuning of distributed, scalable systems.
  • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, storage, platform services, and the broader cloud market dynamics, including customer buying behavior.
  • Hands‑on experience building data warehouses, data lakes, real‑time event processing pipelines, streaming architectures, and data visualization solutions on cloud‑native platforms.
