Our client is seeking a highly analytical and data-driven Remote Logistics Analyst to join their expanding supply chain team. This fully remote position will focus on analyzing complex logistics data, identifying trends, and developing strategies to optimize supply chain performance. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing the overall effectiveness of our client's logistics network. Key Responsibilities

Analyze logistics data, including transportation costs, transit times, inventory levels, and carrier performance. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics operations. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements within the supply chain. Conduct research on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and market trends in logistics. Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and sales, to gather data and support strategic initiatives. Support the development and implementation of new logistics strategies and processes. Perform ad-hoc analysis to support various business needs and decision-making. Assist in carrier selection and contract negotiations by providing data-driven insights. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reporting and analysis. Contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics planning and execution systems.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in logistics analysis, supply chain management, or a related analytical role. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret complex data sets. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas) and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely. Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
