Position Overview

The Remote Data Entry & Customer Support Specialist plays a dual role at arenaflex, serving as both the backbone of our data integrity efforts and a friendly first point of contact for our clients' customers. On any given day, you may be transcribing information from one system to another, verifying records for accuracy, answering questions through email or chat, or guiding a customer through a simple troubleshooting process. This part-time role is ideal for someone who is organized, comfortable juggling multiple priorities, and motivated by the satisfaction of a job done right.

This position reports to the Remote Operations Lead and works on a flexible part-time schedule, typically between 20 and 29 hours per week. Shifts are available during standard business hours, and some evening availability may be appreciated depending on client needs.

Key Responsibilities

Data Entry and Information Management

  • Accurately input, update, and maintain customer and business data across multiple internal platforms and databases.
  • Review source documents such as forms, emails, spreadsheets, and scanned records to verify completeness and correctness before entry.
  • Identify and flag inconsistencies, missing information, or duplicate records for review by the data quality team.
  • Perform routine data cleanup tasks to ensure that all records remain current, well-organized, and compliant with company standards.
  • Generate basic reports and summaries as requested by supervisors or client account managers.

Customer Service and Client Support

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries received via phone, email, live chat, and ticketing systems.
  • Provide clear, friendly, and solution-oriented assistance to help customers resolve questions related to accounts, orders, services, or general information.
  • Document every customer interaction in the customer relationship management (CRM) system, capturing key details and next steps.
  • Escalate complex or sensitive issues to the appropriate senior team member while keeping the customer informed throughout the process.
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude in every customer interaction, reflecting the values of arenaflex.

Administrative and Team Support

  • Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing digital documents, formatting reports, and managing shared inboxes.

  • Provide feedback to leadership about recurring issues, process gaps, or opportunities for improvement.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree or coursework in business, communications, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a data entry, administrative, customer service, or similar role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and teammates.
  • Solid computer literacy, including comfort with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and web-based applications.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet daily and weekly productivity goals.
