[Remote] SAP FI Consultant With Tax Focus
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Lupus Consulting is seeking a highly skilled SAP FI Tax Consultant to join their team. This role will focus on optimizing financial processes, ensuring tax compliance, and integrating tax regulations within SAP Financial Accounting (FI). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP FI, tax regulations, and financial reporting, with a strong ability to drive digital transformation and automation using innovative technologies.
Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain SAP FI modules with a focus on tax accounting, indirect taxes (VAT, GST), and withholding tax
- Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations within SAP FI
- Collaborate with tax and finance teams to optimize tax-related processes and reporting
- Design and implement automated tax solutions using Alteryx, SAP FI, and Power BI
- Map tax processes and identify areas for improvement in automation and efficiency
- Support audits and tax filings through accurate reporting and documentation
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate tax requirements into business workflows
- Provide training and support to finance and tax teams on SAP FI functionalities
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Strong expertise in SAP FI, particularly in tax-related functionalities
- Experience with tax compliance, VAT, GST, withholding tax, and financial reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in Alteryx, Power BI, and SQL is a plus
