[Remote] Compliance Sales Specialist

Kipu Health is focused on bettering the behavioral health landscape and empowering patients and caregivers throughout the recovery journey. They are seeking a Compliance Sales Specialist to identify potential clients, negotiate contracts, and generate interest in their solutions, specifically in the behavioral health sector.
Responsibilities
- Identify potential clients within our target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business needs
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders
- Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes, and operations, and remain up to date on industry news
- Generate interest in Kipu Systems solutions through cold calling and following up on company-provided hot leads
- Cross-selling our Compliance Software and Services to our existing base of clients
- Identify, initiate, and nurture relationships with prospects over the phone, via e-mail, and face-to-face visits
- Enter all activities into Salesforce
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date sales lead tracking and pipeline
- Maintain accurate forecasting and established targets
- Learn the benefits and features of our industry-leading brand and solutions and sustain the knowledge to nurture success
- Educate prospects, coordinate, and present demonstrations
- Quickly learn and apply new information in customer-facing scenarios
- Build a strong foundation of industry knowledge to expertly handle client objections
Skills
- 2 to 4 years of work experience as a business development professional, sales executive, or a relevant role
- Proven experience managing the entire sales cycle from finding a potential client to securing a deal
- Proficient in sales methodology such as GAP, Sandler, Challenger, etc
- Track record of over-achieving established targets
- Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles
- Experience in customer support is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build rapport
- Time management and planning skills
- Passion for technology and willingness to learn
- The desire to grow and succeed
- Experience within the Addiction Treatment and Behavioral Health Industry
- Experience in solution selling
