Telecom Expense Management (TEM) Specialist

We are seeking a Telecom Expense Management (TEM) Specialist to lead the oversight, optimization, and integration of telecom services and expenses across the enterprise. This role plays a key part in M&A-driven telecom transitions, managing complex vendor environments (including international carriers across Canada and the Caribbean), and ensuring seamless onboarding into the Calero TEM platform. This position is highly visible and critical to maintaining billing accuracy, inventory integrity, and uninterrupted telecom services during system migrations and acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities

Telecom Expense Management & Calero Onboarding (Core Focus) Lead end-to-end onboarding of telecom services from legacy ERP systems into Calero TEM. Accurately classify telecom services (voice, data, wireless, satellite, SIP, legacy) during migration. Build, validate, and maintain a complete and accurate telecom inventory within Calero. Ensure proper cost allocation, cost center mapping, and organizational hierarchy alignment. Vendor & Carrier Coordination Manage relationships with domestic and international telecom carriers. Secure and manage carrier portal access and account credentials. Coordinate billing transitions, including updating billing addresses and account ownership during cutovers. Proactively monitor migrated accounts to prevent service disruptions or disconnects. Inventory & Asset Governance Maintain and continuously improve enterprise-wide telecom inventory accuracy. Implement governance processes to track services, assets, and usage across all business units. Billing, Financial Controls & Reporting Oversee telecom billing cycles, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. Identify cost-saving opportunities and billing discrepancies. Develop and deliver reporting on telecom spend, trends, and optimization initiatives. M&A Integration Leadership Lead telecom due diligence efforts for acquisitions, including inventory discovery and contract review. Drive post-acquisition integration of telecom services into enterprise systems and standards. Ensure seamless transition of services with zero downtime or billing gaps.

Preferred Qualifications
