Job Title: Online Teaching Special Education Teacher - Remote | WFH Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who is eager to make a significant impact on students' lives while working remotely. This position allows you to engage with students from Early Childhood through High School, providing essential support and guidance to help them overcome communication challenges. With a manageable caseload of approximately 60 students, you will play a pivotal role in their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities
Provide virtual speech and language therapy services tailored to various grade levels. Create and execute individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs of each student. Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and school personnel to track and enhance student progress. Conduct thorough assessments to determine students needs and evaluate their advancement. Ensure meticulous documentation and timely submission of progress reports. Required Skills Strong communication abilities to foster positive interactions with students and stakeholders. Effective problem-solving skills to address challenges in student care. Excellent organizational skills to manage diverse caseloads effectively.
Qualifications
Possession of an active Speech-Language Pathologist license/certification in Oregon (OR). Experience managing caseloads across Early Childhood, Middle, and High School levels is preferred. Prior experience in a school environment is highly desirable.
