Salesforce Developer Hartford, CT – REMOTE – Locals preferred One Year Contract The State of Connecticut Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance Authority is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer. Reporting to the Salesforce Technical Manager, the Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, building, and configuring complex Salesforce applications that support the Authority’s business processes and technical requirements. Key Duties

  • Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing Salesforce applications; perform defect analysis, design updates, and code corrections.
  • Manage configurations and workflows to support evolving business needs.
  • Apply Agile development practices in a collaborative team environment.
  • Develop using Lightning Web Components, Flows, Apex, and work within Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
  • Build and maintain Salesforce API integrations across multiple platforms.
  • Diagnose platform issues and coordinate effective resolutions.
  • Conduct system performance testing and tuning to ensure reliability and scalability.
  • Review and troubleshoot vendor partner work to ensure quality and alignment with standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in software development.
  • 2+ years of hands on development experience on the Salesforce platform using Visualforce, LWC, Apex, Aura, Flow, Salesforce APIs, SOQL, and SOSL.
  • Experience with Web Services, OAuth, JavaScript, and SQL.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience using Git based source control (e.g., Bitbucket).
  • Experience working within Agile software development environments.
  • Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud.
  • Salesforce Developer certification is a plus.
