[Remote] Cloud Engineer | $85/hr Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Cloud Engineer for a sprint-based project. The role involves completing complex infrastructure engineering tasks, reviewing model-generated implementations, and applying engineering judgment to real-world scenarios.
Responsibilities
- Complete and evaluate complex infrastructure engineering tasks using coding agents
- Review model-generated implementations involving cloud platforms, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure automation
- Identify bugs, edge cases, reliability issues, and system failure modes
- Compare outputs from multiple models and assess strengths and weaknesses
- Apply engineering judgment to real-world infrastructure and reliability scenarios
Skills
- Strong experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Engineering
- Strong experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, or observability tooling
- Strong experience using coding agents and developer productivity tools
- Ability to evaluate model-generated infrastructure and reliability engineering solutions
- Strong experience supporting production-scale systems
