As a part‑time Customer Service Agent, you will become an ambassador of arenaflex’s core mission: helping people get to the places and moments that matter most.

Why This Role Is a Perfect Fit for You

If you thrive in fast‑paced environments, love solving problems on the fly, and enjoy interacting with a diverse range of travelers, this position offers the ideal blend of front‑line customer engagement and behind‑the‑scenes operational support. You’ll work in a collaborative setting, receive comprehensive training, and gain exposure to a variety of airline functions—from ticketing and baggage handling to virtual assistance and ground‑task coordination.

Key Responsibilities

As a part‑time Customer Service Agent at arenaxflex, you will be responsible for delivering world‑class service across multiple touchpoints. Your daily duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Guest Interaction: Greet passengers with a warm, friendly demeanor at ticket counters, baggage claim, and gate areas, ensuring every interaction reflects arenaxflex’s hospitality standards.
  • Virtual Assistance: Provide real‑time support through arenaxflex’s virtual assistant platform, answering inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and guiding guests through booking, check‑in, and baggage processes.
  • Transaction Processing: Accurately handle cash, credit cards, travel vouchers, and other forms of payment, maintaining balanced cash drawers and adhering to financial controls.
  • Reservation Management: Use arenaxflex’s reservation system to create, modify, and cancel bookings, while delivering clear, concise information about flight schedules, gate changes, and travel policies.
  • Problem Resolution: Address overbookings, delayed or cancelled flights, lost or damaged baggage, and other service disruptions with empathy and efficiency, following arenaxflex’s escalation procedures.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, lift and move luggage up to 70 lb, and comply with airport security regulations and arenaxflex’s operational handbook.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Complete daily logs, incident reports, and performance metrics as required, ensuring accurate record‑keeping for management review.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors, fellow agents, and other airport staff to maintain smooth operations and a positive work environment.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should meet the following baseline requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States (arenaxflex does not sponsor visas).
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain a valid SIDA (Security Identification) badge.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language abilities are a plus.
  • Basic computer literacy, including proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and reservation software.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 70 lb repeatedly and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in airline customer service, hospitality, or retail environments.
  • Familiarity with virtual assistant platforms or chatbot support tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve a training pass rate of 80 % or higher.
  • Experience handling cash transactions and reconciling financial records.
  • Knowledge of airline regulations, baggage handling procedures, and safety standards.

  • Customer‑Centric Mindset: Ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver solutions with patience and empathy.
  • Problem‑Solving: Quick thinking and resourcefulness when addressing unexpected service disruptions.
  • Communication: Clear, concise, and courteous verbal and written communication, both in person and via virtual channels.
