As a remote‑first organization, arenaflex embraces flexible work arrangements, cutting‑edge technology, and a culture of continuous improvement. Join a team that values precision, integrity, and collaboration while you contribute to a vital sector of the healthcare ecosystem.

Why This Role Matters

In today’s data‑driven world, the reliability of clinical information is the backbone of effective care delivery. As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be the guardian of data integrity for multiple business lines, ensuring that every record—whether it originates from community health programs, state‑run insurance initiatives, or private sector collaborations—is entered, reviewed, and maintained with the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality. Your work will directly support quality‑management (QM) initiatives, post‑employment surveys, remedial action plans, and compliance reporting, making a tangible impact on the health of the populations we serve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high‑volume data entry tasks for arenaflex’s clinical databases, adhering to strict accuracy and timeliness requirements across night and day shifts.
  • Execute comprehensive on‑site clinical and administrative reviews for all arenaflex business lines, including programs formerly known as AHCCCS, DES, and DCS‑CHP (now consolidated under the arenaflex umbrella).
  • Participate in QM Work Plan exercises, applying estimation and analysis techniques to assess data quality, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions that align with arenaflex’s QM targets.
  • Conduct post‑employment surveys with clinical and program staff to audit review outcomes, documenting findings and supporting the development of remedial action plans.
  • Develop, maintain, and update review tools and tracking systems for diverse populations, ensuring that remedial action plans are monitored and completed on schedule.
  • Complete data sections on all review tools, guaranteeing that each entry meets arenaflex’s rigorous quality and scoring standards.
  • Attend and actively contribute to QM meetings, sharing insights, progress updates, and best practices with cross‑functional teams.
  • Travel to vendor sites up to 80% of the time when required, representing arenaflex in on‑site data verification and quality assurance activities.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and other relevant data protection regulations throughout all tasks.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum of a four‑year college degree (any discipline) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: At least two years of experience in a medical services, social welfare, or related data‑entry environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, with the ability to create complex spreadsheets, pivot tables, and data validation rules.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrated high level of accuracy and meticulousness in handling large data sets.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, essential for documenting findings and interacting with clinical staff.
  • Work Authorization: Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential, providing a clinical perspective that enhances data interpretation.
  • Experience in Quality Management (QM) evaluation, case management, or health‑care compliance auditing.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and health‑information exchange platforms.
  • Prior experience conducting on‑site assessments or vendor audits.
  • Certification in Health Information Management (HIM) or related fields.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Data Integrity: Ability to spot inconsistencies, correct errors, and uphold data standards.
  • Analytical Thinking: Proficiency in interpreting data trends and translating them into actionable quality‑improvement recommendations.
  • Time Management: Skillful in balancing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines across varying shift schedules.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable thriving in fast‑paced, remote environments while maintaining focus on detail‑oriented tasks.
  • Collaboration: Experience working with cross‑functional teams, including clinicians, program managers, and IT specialists.
