The role involves maintaining technical records, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with data governance policies to drive operational efficiency and informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and IT teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date test reports
  • Maintain databases, systems, and tools for efficient data storage and retrieval
  • Analyze technical data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with data governance policies, security standards, and industry regulations
  • Train and support team members on proper data handling and system usage
  • Lead efforts to digitize and modernize data management practices
  • Support client reporting and documentation needs with timely and accurate data delivery
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for audits and reviews related to technical data
  • Additional administrative responsibilities as needed

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, data science, information management, computer science, or a related technical field
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in technical data management, database administration, or a similar role, preferably in the utilities, industrial, or critical infrastructure sectors
  • Proficiency in data management systems, software tools (e.g., SQL, SAP, or similar), Microsoft Office Suite, and data visualization platforms (e.g., PowerDb)
  • Strong understanding of technical documentation, schematics, equipment specifications, and industry best practices for data governance and security
  • Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., NERC CIP, OSHA, or ISO standards)
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a strong customer focus and the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences
  • Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills, demonstrating a capacity for managing multiple priorities and driving project success
  • Able to work independently in a remote environment
  • Must successfully complete a background check and pre-employment/random drug tests
  • Valid and current driver's license
