[Remote] Cloud Security Engineer

Proven Recruiting is a rapidly scaling provider supporting highly regulated government contractors, and they are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to help meet rising growth in the cybersecurity services market. In this role, you will design, implement, and support SIEM/SOAR solutions while collaborating with SOC analysts to improve security operations.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support SIEM/SOAR solutions (Sentinel, Google SecOps), including data ingestion, correlation rules, and automation
- Develop and maintain security playbooks, automations, and analytics to improve SOC efficiency and response time
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across security tooling while supporting client environments and onboarding projects
- Collaborate with SOC analysts on incident response, ticket triage, and continuous improvement of security operations
Skills
- 5+ years of experience implementing and managing security tools in enterprise environments, including SOC experience
- Strong expertise with Microsoft Sentinel, GoogleSecOps, Rapid7, ConnectWise, or similar platforms
- Proven ability to create analytics, automation, and security playbooks, with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Must be a U.S. citizen
