[Remote] Full Stack Software Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. TALENT Software Services is a not-for-profit membership organization focused on excellence and equity in education. They are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to develop and redesign user-facing products and applications using modern technologies such as AWS, React, and Node.js.
Responsibilities
- As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, candidate will be responsible for complex software development including coding, managing small sections of ongoing projects and closely adhering to deadlines
- Candidate will also take responsibility for creating design specifications, unit testing, and preparing technical documentation
- Candidate will ensure relationships with customers and cross-team members are professional and meet expectations
- The Senior Full Stack Engineer will analyze procedures, and design and implement solutions to attain high data quality and process automation
- The Senior Full Stack Engineer will design, develop and implement solutions, based on a set of standards and processes which establish consistency across the enterprise data, reduce risk, and promote efficiencies in support of the organization's goals and objectives
Skills
- Strong experience in full-stack development
- Strong experience in React and TypeScript
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6)
- Solid experience with Node.js backend development
- Experience working with AWS services and deploying applications to AWS
- Experience building REST APIs and microservices
- Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and automation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with automated testing (E2E and API testing)
- Familiarity with AWS CDK or CloudFormation
- Experience with event-driven architectures
- Experience working in Agile environments
