[Remote] Senior Software Engineering Manager, Patient & Provider Experiences

They are seeking a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team focused on enhancing patient and provider experiences through innovative technology solutions. The role involves shaping technical strategy, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring operational excellence in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to deliver complex, open-ended projects aligned with business goals
• Define and communicate a clear technical vision that supports organizational strategy

Skills

• Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects with measurable business impact
• 8 years of experience with system design, architecture, and cross-functional trade-offs
• 5 years of experience driving organizational change and influencing outcomes across teams
• 2 or more years of experience leading fully remote, geographically distributed engineering teams
• 2 or more years of experience with cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS)
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities, with a minimum of 9 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
• Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills
• Passion for mentoring, team development, and building inclusive engineering cultures
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments with a high degree of autonomy
• Commitment to operational excellence through improved monitoring, observability, and tooling
• Technical acumen to create clarity around architectural and strategic decisions
• Familiarity with web technologies and architecture
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Kafka, containerization, and Terraform
• Occasional travel to other locations, conferences, and training events may be required
• 2 or more years of experience in the healthcare industry or other highly regulated industries
• 2 or more years of experience with Python, TypeScript, Kotlin, or similar languages
