[Remote] Business Development Manager – Nuclear Water Solutions (Ion Exchange Resins)

Skills Alliance is a US-based water technology manufacturer expanding into the nuclear sector with a new ion exchange resin product line. They are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead market entry and revenue growth across the United States, working closely with senior leadership to define strategy and develop key customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead commercial development of a nuclear-focused ion exchange resin product line across the US
- Identify and engage with key stakeholders including nuclear utilities, EPCs, and service providers
- Build and execute a go-to-market strategy for the nuclear and high-purity segments
- Drive new business acquisition and expand key accounts
- Manage long-cycle, technically complex sales processes in regulated environments
- Partner with internal technical teams to align product capabilities with customer requirements
- Monitor market trends, competitor positioning, and emerging opportunities
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in sales or business development within one or more of the following: Ion exchange resins / filtration / separation technologies, Water or wastewater treatment, Power generation (nuclear or thermal), Specialty chemicals or process technologies
- Experience selling into regulated or technically complex industries (e.g. nuclear, power, pharmaceutical, semiconductor) is highly preferred
- Proven ability to generate new business and manage strategic accounts
- Comfortable navigating long, relationship-driven sales cycles
- Technically credible with the ability to engage engineering and procurement stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial mindset – able to operate in a newly developing market
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
