[Remote] Senior Product Manager, Performance Testing | US | Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Grafana Labs, the company behind the open observability cloud, is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Performance Testing. In this role, you will develop a vision and strategy for performance testing within Grafana Cloud, ensuring it becomes the default choice for teams adopting shift-left testing while collaborating with Engineering, Design, and UX teams.
Responsibilities
- Transform ideas and feedback into a product vision and roadmap
- Empathize with customer problems in order to collect user needs, requirements, and pain points
- Curate and properly represent user feedback to Engineering, while providing evidence to support tradeoffs and priorities
- Work closely with PMM to enable GTM on product differentiation, including creating and updating presentations, documentation, website content, datasheets, and whitepapers
- Use your deep product expertise to make decisions about our go-to-market strategies, pricing, packaging, licensing and tiering
Skills
- A BS/BA in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of experience in Product Management
- 5+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS product
- Experience using or building developer-facing tools, APIs, or platform services
- Ability to discuss APIs, data models, schema evolution, and distributed systems concepts
- Experience driving adoption of shared services or platform capabilities across multiple product teams
- Experience working with Engineering and Design teams build delightful products and features – with sounds UX – in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience with open source software and/or commercial open source companies
- Experience using or building observability products and/or developer tools, either internally as an SRE or for external customers
- Proficient with infrastructure concepts and components – like Kubernetes, Cloud Service Providers, and VMs – and able to articulate these models in human-readable terms
- Experience with AI tools
