[Remote] Account Executive - Telecom

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Talentstra is seeking an experienced telecom sales professional for the role of Account Executive in the Telecom sector. The successful candidate will engage with Telecom Operators and Infrastructure Owners to drive new logo acquisition and pipeline growth, ensuring successful execution of projects and representing the client at industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Own annual quota and drive new logo acquisition and pipeline growth to grow the Telecom business
  • Engage decision-makers and develop relationships with operators, engineering firms, EPCs, and service providers
  • Develop strategic partnerships where co-selling and industry collaboration foster growth
  • Close pilot projects, prove value, and expand to multi-year programs
  • Work with delivery teams to ensure successful execution
  • Represent client at industry events and conferences

Skills

  • 5+ years of selling in telecom infrastructure: fiber networks, tower infrastructure, broadband deployment in the US Market
  • Proven track record in closing enterprise deals
  • Consistent quota attainment over multiple years
  • Hunter mentality: opening new accounts, building pipeline, navigating complex sales cycles
  • Deep understanding of fiber network design and construction: FTTx deployment, site surveys, make-ready engineering, as-built documentation, and splice management
  • Knowledge of tower infrastructure: drone surveys, structural analysis, equipment integration, digital twins
  • Familiarity with federal broadband funding programs
  • Must have experience working with or selling to operators and/or engineering firms
  • Established relationships in telecom and broadband markets
  • Understanding of how operators and engineering firms procure services
  • Consultative selling: diagnose pain, tailor solutions, build trust
  • Self-starter who builds territory independently
  • Strong presentation and proposal skills
  • CRM proficiency
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
  • Regular travel for customer meetings and events
