[Remote] Industry Principal — Strategic Business Development

Alitheon is a pioneering company that has developed a unique technology to provide physical objects with distinct identities using photographs. They are seeking an Industry Principal for Strategic Business Development who will leverage their extensive industry experience and relationships to drive strategic conversations and opportunities within various sectors.

Responsibilities

• Be the expert voice. Represent Alitheon as a domain authority within your industry vertical. You won’t be reading from a script—you’ll be drawing from years of lived experience to articulate why FeaturePrint matters
• Open doors at the top. Use your existing network, industry reputation, and sector knowledge to initiate strategic conversations with senior decision-makers: Heads of Finance, Compliance, Quality, Safety, Operations, and Aftermarket leaders
• Create opportunities, not just leads. Identify, cultivate, and develop high-value business relationships that lead to pilot programs, partnerships, and enterprise-scale deployments
• Shape how we go to market. Provide strategic intelligence on industry pain points, buying processes, regulatory drivers, and competitive dynamics to help Alitheon refine its positioning and roadmap
• Collaborate cross-functionally. Work closely with Alitheon’s product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to ensure what we deliver and how we message it is grounded in real-world operational reality

Skills

• 10+ years of industry experience, with significant time in senior or executive roles where you owned real operational outcomes
• First-hand knowledge of the pain. You've dealt with counterfeiting, traceability gaps, compliance burdens, inefficient and ineffective inventory management at scale, recall inefficiencies, warranty fraud, or provenance challenges—and you know what these cost in dollars, reputation, safety, and trust
• Executive communication skills. You're as comfortable in a boardroom as on a factory floor. You can translate sophisticated technology into business value and operational impact
• Entrepreneurial energy. You thrive in a high-growth environment where you're building something, not maintaining something
• A strong professional network of peers and decision-makers across your industry who respect your judgment and take your calls
• You are an experienced professional who has held operational, quality, compliance, safety, or aftermarket leadership roles in at least one of the following industries: Expensive items: Luxury Goods; Collectibles & High-Value Assets; Healthcare, Medical Devices & Pharmaceuticals; Military & Defense; Transportation: Automotive (OEM and/or Aftermarket); Aerospace & Aviation; Microelectronics / PCBAs / Datacenters
