[Remote] Pre-Sales Client Services Account Manager

They are seeking a Pre-Sales Client Services Account Manager who will engage with potential clients to understand their business problems and provide tailored Microsoft cloud technology solutions. The role involves conducting technical sales calls, creating demos and presentations, and collaborating with the COO and development team to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • The Pre-Sales Client Services Account Manager is passionate about uncovering a client’s business problems and architecting solutions leveraging various public cloud technologies, matching the appropriate technology to help solve the identified problem(s)
  • This role works closely with the COO and Business Development Managers from the initial engagement with a customer to the final stage of closing the project
  • Work with COO to conduct technical sales calls with potential clients around Microsoft Cloud technologies
  • Create customer facing demos/POCs and presentations around designed solution
  • Participate in monthly technical meetings with management, development team, and operations to get updates on assignments and help coordinate interdependent project tasks
  • Develop accurate estimates/BOMs, SOWs and occasional RFP responses
  • Stay up to date with latest Microsoft cloud technologies and acquire necessary technical certifications

Skills

  • Must be a US Citizen, we work on government contracts
  • The ideal candidate should have deep technical background in traditional Microsoft IT, Microsoft Cloud Productivity Solutions (Modern Workplace M365) and Hybrid infrastructures
  • Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Priva, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Syntex is a plus
  • Proven ability to engage in consultative selling, understanding customer pain points, and positioning Microsoft products as solutions to those challenges
  • Professional experience working directly with clients and customers to provide technical support and guidance
  • Ability to think creatively to find solutions to business problems and issues
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes in technology, industry trends, and product updates, ensuring continued relevance and expertise in Microsoft solutions
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to develop sales and business strategy options, while also being able to successfully execute plans and build strong relationships
  • Ability to pass background check
  • M365 Certifications are a plus!
