Position Overview

The Remote Customer Service Representative role is a cornerstone of arenaflex’s Member Operations division within our Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) business. Based in the Orlando, FL metro area (or anywhere within a 75‑mile radius), you will provide compassionate, knowledgeable assistance to members who need help understanding their pharmacy benefits, medication coverage, and mail‑order services. This position offers a flexible work‑from‑home schedule, comprehensive training, and a clear pathway for career advancement—from Representative I to senior leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound member calls with professionalism, empathy, and a solutions‑oriented mindset.
  • Explain prescription insurance details, including coverage limits, co‑pays, and formulary tiers for commercial plans, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and other specialized programs.
  • Assist members with mail‑order prescription inquiries, refill requests, and troubleshooting delivery issues.
  • Document interactions accurately in arenaflex’s CRM system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and internal data‑security standards.
  • Identify opportunities to educate members about cost‑saving options, such as generic alternatives or therapeutic equivalents.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—pharmacy operations, claims, and quality assurance—to resolve complex member issues.
  • Participate in ongoing virtual training sessions, role‑plays, and performance coaching to continuously improve product knowledge and communication skills.
  • Adapt to fluctuating call volumes by adjusting schedule as needed, while maintaining consistent service levels and adherence to performance metrics.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer‑facing role (call center, retail, hospitality, military service, or similar).
  • Proficiency with Windows‑based applications and the ability to quickly learn new software platforms.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree or related experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of member information.
  • Reliable high‑speed internet connection and a quiet, distraction‑free home workspace.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Associate’s degree or comparable professional experience.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on delivering positive outcomes for members.
  • Exceptional telephone etiquette, including clear articulation, active listening, and courteous tone.
  • Empathy and patience when dealing with members who may be stressed or confused about their benefits.
  • At least 6 months of experience in a health‑care or pharmacy‑related environment.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, adhere to scheduling standards, and meet performance targets.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

What You’ll Gain – Learning & Development

arenaflex invests heavily in your professional growth. From day one, you’ll participate in a blended training program that includes:

  • Two days of on‑site orientation (or virtual equivalent) to introduce arenaflex culture, policies, and technology.
  • Six weeks of intensive virtual classroom instruction, self‑paced modules, and live coaching.
  • Regular webinars on pharmacy benefit trends, regulatory updates, and advanced communication techniques.
  • Access to a digital learning library with courses on conflict resolution, data privacy, and career development.
  • Mentorship opportunities with seasoned arenaflex professionals who can guide you toward higher‑level roles.
