Pricing Associate (12-Month Contract)
GroupSource LP is a company dedicated to providing customized group benefit plans for Canadian organizations. The Pricing Associate is responsible for the administration of prospect quotes, maintaining advisor records, and creating statistical and summary reports to ensure efficient pricing processes.
Responsibilities
- Review incoming information for completeness and identify inconsistencies or inaccuracies in client census, plan design, rate history, and experience in order to produce quotes
- Create prospect and alternative quotes by entering data into applicable software or underwriting arrangements for pricing by the RVP/BDM's, accurately adhering to all carrier underwriting guidelines
- Maintain partner records on the CRM system
- Create scheduled and on-demand summary and statistical reporting for advisors, clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders
- Manage the pricing general email inbox and maintain the shared CRM dashboard
- Accurately track correspondence and work items in a timely manner
- Prepare an accurate sold quote before hand-off to the New Business department for setup
- Suggest ways to improve and simplify existing processes

- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to accomplish tasks expediently and with minimal supervision
- Experience in group benefits or an administrative-related field is an asset
- Completion of post-secondary education in mathematics or statistics is an asset
