Financial Accountant - Mainly Remote

The team is looking for an individual who enjoys learning, leveraging technology, improving processes, and taking ownership of meaningful work. What You'll Be Doing

• Contribute to the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses
• Support accounting and reporting for various operational and corporate initiatives
• Assist with lease accounting, project accounting, and other key accounting functions
• Collaborate with business partners across multiple departments
• Help identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency
• Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives
• Utilize modern financial systems and reporting tools to support decision-making

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close
• Solid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel capabilities
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• A proactive mindset and desire to continue learning and growing

Preferred Experience

• CPA or CPA-track
• Public accounting background
• Experience working with large ERP systems
• Exposure to lease accounting, project accounting, or financial reporting
• Experience with Power BI, automation tools, or process improvement initiatives
