Remote Diagnostic Radiologist in California (CA License Required)
Sol Radiology is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist for a fully remote teleradiology position. You can practice from anywhere in the United States, provided you hold—or are able to obtain—an active California medical license. - 100% remote—work from anywhere in the U.S.
- 7 days on / 14 days off schedule
- Daily reading hours of 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Pacific)
- Productivity target of approximately 12 RVUs per reading hour
- Competitive base compensation of approximately $500,000 annually, plus productivity incentive
- High-volume, multi-site practice spanning hospital and outpatient settings, with significant emergent/STAT coverage
- Multiple AI-enabled tools and 24/7 radiologist and IT support, so you can focus on interpretation

Responsibilities
- Interpret a broad range of diagnostic imaging studies across hospital and outpatient sites, including X-ray, CT, ultrasound, and MRI, as credentialed
- Provide accurate, timely, and clinically relevant reports to referring providers
- Communicate urgent and critical findings in accordance with established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to support patient care and treatment planning
- Maintain compliance with quality assurance, regulatory, and documentation standards
- Participate in peer review and quality improvement initiatives as needed
- Use PACS, RIS, and EMR systems effectively within a remote environment
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency program
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR or equivalent)—both are welcome to apply
- Active California medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- Illinois medical license preferred but not required—we will support obtaining one if you do not already hold it
- Participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with remote teleradiology workflows preferred
