Recruiter – Insurance & Financial Services Contract, $45.hr/full time 6 month contract to start We are seeking an experienced Recruiter with a strong background in the insurance and/or financial services industry. This role will focus on sourcing, evaluating, and placing top talent across mortgage brokerage, lending, and wealth advisory functions. The ideal candidate understands regulated financial environments and has a proven ability to recruit revenue-producing and client-facing professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers and leadership to understand hiring needs for mortgage brokers, loan officers, lenders, and wealth/financial advisors
  • Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies for experienced financial services professionals
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding support
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs
  • Evaluate candidates’ licensing, credentials, and industry experience (e.g., NMLS, FINRA, insurance licenses, etc.)
  • Utilize ATS, CRM tools, LinkedIn, and industry networks to identify passive and active candidates
  • Provide market insights on compensation, talent availability, and hiring trends within financial services
  • Deliver a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within insurance, financial services, or banking
  • Proven experience recruiting for roles such as mortgage brokers, loan officers, lenders, financial advisors, or wealth advisors
  • Strong understanding of financial services terminology, compensation structures, and regulatory considerations
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agency recruiting experience within financial services
  • Familiarity with commission-based and production-driven roles
  • Knowledge of mortgage, lending, or wealth management business models
