As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be the guardian of our critical data assets, ensuring that information is entered, validated, and maintained with the highest standards of precision and security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry & Validation: Accurately input a wide variety of data—ranging from product specifications and inventory numbers to customer feedback and vendor details—into arenaflex’s centralized database systems. Perform real‑time validation checks to guarantee completeness and correctness.
  • Quality Assurance & Auditing: Conduct routine quality control reviews, identify discrepancies, and correct errors promptly. Generate daily and weekly audit reports to track data integrity metrics.
  • Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain organized, searchable records of all entered data. Follow arenaflex’s data governance policies, ensuring compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams in procurement, logistics, customer service, and analytics to gather missing information, clarify ambiguities, and streamline data flow across departments.
  • Process Improvement Participation: Contribute ideas to enhance data entry workflows, suggest automation opportunities, and assist in the rollout of new data management tools.
  • System Support & Training: Provide basic support to peers on data entry software, troubleshoot minor technical issues, and assist in onboarding new team members.
  • Reporting & Analytics Assistance: Prepare data extracts for internal reporting, support senior analysts in preparing dashboards, and help translate raw data into actionable insights.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or coursework in business administration, information systems, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience: Prior experience in data entry, clerical support, or administrative roles (internships, part‑time jobs, or volunteer work) is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), basic familiarity with database interfaces, and the ability to quickly learn proprietary data entry platforms.
  • Attention to Detail: Proven track record of delivering error‑free work, with a meticulous approach to verifying and cross‑checking information.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple data streams, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a high‑volume environment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, enabling clear interaction with internal teams and external partners.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to evolving priorities, new tools, and shifting business needs without compromising quality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data management tools such as SQL, Access, or cloud‑based platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery).
  • Exposure to e‑commerce or retail operations, understanding of product catalog structures, SKU management, or inventory tracking.
  • Certification in data handling, information security, or related fields (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional).
  • Demonstrated ability to suggest and implement process improvements that resulted in measurable efficiency gains.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to spot patterns, inconsistencies, and trends within large data sets.
  • Problem‑Solving: Proactive approach to identifying root causes of data errors and proposing corrective actions.
  • Time Management: Efficiently juggle competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Team Collaboration: Work constructively with diverse stakeholders, respecting differing viewpoints and fostering a cooperative atmosphere.
  • Ethical Judgment: Commitment to data privacy, confidentiality, and adherence to arenaflex’s ethical standards.
  • Continuous Learning: Enthusiasm for staying current with emerging data technologies, industry best practices, and internal system upgrades.
