CUSTOMER ACCT REPRESENTATIVE

The Customer Account Representative will respond to customer inquiries, process orders, and maintain account information while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels with professionalism and promptness
- Process customer orders efficiently, ensuring data integrity and timely entry into the system
- Responsible for answering a daily average quota of customer phone calls and emails
- Monitor and follow up on backorders, providing proactive updates to customers regarding order status, expected delivery and tracking information
- Resolve customer disputes
- Ensure timely receipt of customer due in’s
- Communicate with internal teams to resolve order or account-related issues
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures throughout all customer interactions
- Maintain and update customer account information with accuracy
- Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency
- Assist customers in obtaining information on services from other DFJ departments and/or DFJ vendors
- Perform off-hour telephone coverage as needed
- Other duties may be assigned by management to meet business objectives on an as needed basis
Skills
- High school diploma or G.E.D
- Minimum one year Customer Service experience, in a fast-paced environment
- Familiar with Automated Order Entry Systems
- Familiar with Microsoft Office
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers in a professional manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent listening skills
- Exceptional organizational and follow up skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Required to work rotating shifts
- College preferred
- Previous customer service experience in the aviation industry
- Valid driver's license
