FinOps Systems Analyst Associate

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Systems Analyst Associate to advance how customers operate while building an impactful career in enterprise IT. The role involves providing FinOps support, improving service delivery processes, and assisting with cloud procurement and billing activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide FinOps support to cloud service consumers
• Participate in operating and improving key business and technical service delivery processes
• Support cloud procurement and billing activities, including assisting customers with inquiries
• Coordinate tasks and workflows with business partners involved in service offerings
• Produce routine reports detailing cloud expenditures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer database records
• Create Purchase Requests (PRs) and track Purchase Order (PO) status
• Regularly report on billing and procurement activities

• Working knowledge of IT service management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or BMC Remedy
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment
• Able to lead discussions with distributed teams, including technical, finance, executive, business partners, and customer stakeholders
• Possesses strong analytical skills for solving simple to complex problems
• Self-motivated professional with strong time management skills
• Demonstrated success in providing customer support
• 2+ years working with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google, et al.) -or- 2+ years performing financial analysis or asset management
