[Remote] Business Analyst I
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Conduent is a company that delivers mission-critical services and solutions for Fortune 100 companies and governments. They are seeking a Business Analyst I to support the operations team by gathering and analyzing data, documenting business requirements, and contributing to process improvement initiatives within the New Jersey FamilyCare Managed Care Program.
Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Operations, IT, QA, and Training, to support business initiatives and system enhancements
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that system changes align with business requirements
- Create and maintain documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), workflows, and process maps
- Monitor and report on project progress, including tracking risks, issues, and dependencies
- Coordinate with internal teams to support timely resolution of escalations
- Assist in analyzing current business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization
- Develop a working knowledge of organizational operations, workflows, and applicable policies and regulations related to the NJ FamilyCare Managed Care Program
- Manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Ability to learn and perform technical tasks in a systems-driven environment
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM ET or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM ET
- Ability to work overtime
- Up to 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a related role
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, workflow tools, or issue-tracking platforms
- Experience in healthcare, government programs, or eligibility/services environments
