The Senior Data Engineer – Voice of Customer Analytics is a cornerstone of arenaflex’s Customer Listening Team. This team translates raw feedback from more than five million surveys per year—spanning consumer, business, and service‑provider segments—into actionable intelligence that shapes product strategy, operational excellence, and brand reputation. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders: Work closely with product owners, data scientists, and agile technology squads to capture, refine, and prioritize business requirements for voice‑of‑customer (VOC) initiatives.
• Design and build robust data pipelines: Architect end‑to‑end data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions using Hadoop, HDFS, Spark, Hive, and Python to ensure high‑volume survey data is processed accurately and efficiently.
• Develop scalable data models: Create and maintain enterprise‑wide data models that support advanced analytics, reporting, and machine‑learning workloads while adhering to standardized metric definitions.
• Enable real‑time and batch analytics: Implement streaming and batch processing frameworks that deliver timely insights to business users, empowering rapid decision‑making.
• Automate testing and validation: Build automated data quality checks, unit tests, and integration tests to guarantee data integrity across all stages of the pipeline.

Essential Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing data pipelines that handle large‑scale, multi‑language survey data.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, relational and NoSQL databases, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience working in an Agile environment, delivering incremental value through sprints and continuous integration.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a track record of troubleshooting complex data issues.
• Effective communication abilities—able to translate technical concepts into business‑friendly language.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken); additional language skills are a plus.
