What You'll Do: Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Experience Specialist at arenaflex, you will be the human voice behind one of the most beloved pet brands in America. Your responsibilities will be varied, dynamic, and deeply rewarding. Below is a detailed overview of what your typical day may look like:

  • Direct Customer Engagement: Connect directly with customers who reach out to arenaflex for a wide variety of reasons—from helping them find the perfect new addition for their family, to locating that ideal chew toy for a particularly enthusiastic puppy, to troubleshooting an issue when something doesn't go exactly as planned. Every call is a fresh opportunity to create a positive memory.
  • Problem Solving and Research: Investigate and problem-solve to determine the most appropriate solutions for customers, think proactively about potential follow-up needs, and set subsequent appointments on a case-by-case basis to ensure full contact resolution. What You'll Need: Essential Qualifications

  • Customer Service Experience: A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a professional setting, ideally within a contact center, retail, or e-commerce environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrated outstanding communication abilities, both written and verbal, with strong active listening skills. You will complete a written assessment as part of the hiring process.
  • Multitasking Ability: Proven capacity to multitask effectively—maintaining a conversation on the phone while navigating multiple computer systems and taking notes—while performing well in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfort and capability in using computers for accurate data entry as well as rapid navigation through internal systems and the web to search for information that supports customer inquiries.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to change as the business needs of arenaflex evolve and expand.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to adjust schedule and remain at work past 40 hours when needed by the specialty unit, especially during peak seasons.
  • Confidentiality: Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive customer information at all times.
  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Background Check: Must be able to pass a background investigation.

Technical Requirements for Your Home Office

As a remote team member, you'll need to set up a professional-grade home workspace. Here is what arenaflex requires—and what we provide:

  • Workspace Specifications: Your workspace must be large enough to accommodate computer monitors and free from distractions, including any background noise that could affect the customer experience.
  • Webcam-Ready Environment: Your workspace must be suitable for webcam use during virtual meetings and training sessions.
  • Internet Connection: A reliable, wired, high-speed internet and broadband connection is required, with a minimum of 30 Mbps download speed and 10 Mbps upload speed. You can test your speed at speedtest.net or by contacting your service provider. Candidates must meet and demonstrate this requirement.
  • Equipment Provided by arenaflex: You provide high-speed internet. We will provide everything else, including a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, and webcam.
  • Two-Factor Authentication: A landline telephone is not required. You will need a smartphone or tablet that can be used for two-factor authentication through Okta Verify. Options include a smartphone or tablet on which the Okta mobile application can be downloaded, or a cell phone that can receive SMS messages and calls.
