Position Overview

As a Remote Clinical Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will serve as the first point of contact for our valued members, providing accurate, timely, and courteous assistance on a wide range of inquiries related to their association with our specialty network programs. Working from the comfort of your own home, you’ll handle a high volume of inbound calls, utilizing proprietary systems to look up member information, resolve questions, and route more complex issues to the appropriate departments.

Compensation and Growth Opportunities

  • Starting Pay: $15/hour for full-time, part-time, seasonal, and temporary employees
  • Pay Progression: Full-time and part-time regular employees have the potential to earn $16/hour within their first year, plus merit-based increases

Remote Work Requirements

arenaflex believes in the power of remote work and provides all the technology equipment you need to succeed. To ensure a seamless work-from-home experience, candidates must meet the following technical requirements:

  • A designated work area in your home free from distractions
  • Company-provided technology equipment (no personal device costs to you)
  • Stable internet connection from a reliable Internet Service Provider
  • Minimum internet speeds of 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
  • Ability to participate in online meetings via video conferencing

All new hires will be trained remotely, ensuring you feel confident and prepared before handling live member interactions.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Clinical Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Answering incoming calls in a professional, accurate, timely, and courteous manner, serving as the friendly voice that members rely on
  • Ascertaining the nature of each call and accurately recording information in the Communication Log system
  • Looking up member information using arenaflex’s proprietary systems and providing clear, helpful information to callers
  • Forwarding logs requiring further research to the appropriate department for resolution
  • Transferring callers to the appropriate queue when questions involve more complex issues such as claims or authorizations
  • Utilizing appropriate resources, including online tools, to provide timely and accurate responses
  • Managing your time effectively to ensure calls are answered within required timeframes and follow-up is completed promptly
  • Meeting or exceeding the minimum Key Job Accountabilities established for the Customer Service Representative position
  • Documenting all calls appropriately and maintaining accurate records
  • Attending weekly staff meetings and other team gatherings to discuss issues, share insights, and foster a collaborative team environment
  • Responding to requests from both internal and external customers and clients as required

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Experience: Minimum of one year of customer service experience, with inbound call center experience preferred
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer skills, including familiarity with navigating multiple systems and applications
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally

Physical and Environmental Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. if needed
