Position Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic, customer‑focused individuals to join our team as Customer Service Associates. In this role, you will be the face of arenaflex, providing friendly, efficient, and accurate service at the checkout counter and throughout the store. You will help customers locate products, answer questions, process transactions, and maintain a clean, organized shopping environment. This full‑time position offers a competitive hourly wage of $26 and a schedule of 8‑hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet every customer with a warm smile and a genuine “hello,” offering assistance promptly.
  • Operate point‑of‑sale (POS) registers accurately, handling cash, credit, and electronic payments while maintaining strict cash‑handling procedures.
  • Process transactions including sales, returns, exchanges, voids, discounts, and special promotions in accordance with arenaflex policies.
  • Identify opportunities to suggest complementary products and upsell items that enhance the customer experience.
  • Maintain tidy, well‑stocked aisles and checkout counters; perform regular shelf replenishment using FIFO (first‑in, first‑out) methodology.
  • Assist with inventory control tasks such as receiving shipments, checking in merchandise, and conducting cycle counts.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local regulations for controlled items, including alcohol and tobacco products.
  • Support store merchandising initiatives by setting up promotional displays, seasonal layouts, and product rotations.
  • Provide assistance in the photo department, including operating photo kiosks, printing services, and handling custom orders.
  • Handle online order pickups, screen orders, and communicate order status to customers efficiently.
  • Collaborate with teammates to uphold arenaflex’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and visual presentation.
  • Participate in scheduled training sessions, safety drills, and performance reviews as directed by management.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive attitude.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: At least six months of experience in a retail environment is preferred, though not mandatory.
  • Communication: Strong proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Availability: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Legal Eligibility: Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
