[Remote] Mortgage Loan Officer
Note The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. United Financial Mortgage, LLC is a growing mortgage brokerage seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer. The role involves contacting realtors, developing client relationships, evaluating loan applications, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the loan origination process.
Responsibilities
Contact and pitch realtors on using our company to help their clients with their mortgage needs Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their mortgage needs and provide appropriate loan solutions Evaluate loan applications and determine eligibility based on creditworthiness, income, and other factors Guide clients through the loan application process, including gathering necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with regulations Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and other internal teams to assist with timely and accurate loan processing Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan origination process, addressing client inquiries and concerns Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and changes in lending practices Meet or exceed sales targets by actively promoting loan programs and services Skills Strong knowledge of mortgage sales and loan processing Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients Ability to analyze client's credit profile and make informed lending decisions Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple loan applications simultaneously Proficient in negotiating terms and conditions of loans within established guidelines Knowledge of federal regulations, including TILA (Truth in Lending Act) requirements Experience with Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA guidelines Language English (Required) Familiarity with industry software such as Arive and Lender Price (not required) Bachelor's (Preferred) Mortgage Loan Officer 1 year (Preferred) MLO License in the state of Virginia (Preferred) Day Shift (Preferred) Willingness to travel 25% (Preferred)
