[Remote] Recruitment Co-ordinator / Sourcer (6 month FTC)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Inspired Thinking Group (ITG) is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator / Sourcer to join their Talent Acquisition team during a period of growth. The role involves managing high-volume hiring for technical positions, supporting candidate communications, and maintaining accurate records within the recruitment process.
Responsibilities
- Screen and triage inbound applications across a range of live technical roles, identifying strong-fit candidates and flagging them promptly to the relevant recruiter (with the potential to engage in recruiter calls if relevant experience exists)
- Manage candidate communications throughout the early stages of the process, ensuring a positive and timely candidate experience
- Maintain accurate candidate records and pipeline statuses in Workable (ATS), ensuring all roles and candidate stages are always up to date
- Identify and add any pipeline roles not yet in Workable, working with the TA Director to keep the system as the single source of truth
- Own the scheduling and logistics of initial recruiter calls for allocated roles, managing diaries across the team and coordinating candidate availability efficiently
- Provide coordination support across the team during periods of high demand and planned absences, ensuring continuity of candidate experience
- Source candidates proactively for priority roles using job boards, LinkedIn and other channels, with a particular initial focus on entry level technical profiles in South Africa
- Build and maintain talent pools for high-volume or recurring role types to support future pipeline needs
Skills
- Demonstrable experience in a recruitment coordination, resourcing or talent sourcing role — agency or in-house
- Confident managing high volumes of applications and scheduling across multiple roles simultaneously
- Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail; you take pride in keeping systems and records accurate
- Excellent communicator — written and verbal — with a professional, warm approach to candidate and stakeholder management
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and able to reprioritise quickly as demands shift
- Experience using an ATS (Workable experience an advantage, though not essential)
- Available to start immediately or within a very short notice period — this is essential given the urgency of the hiring programme
- Some exposure to technical recruitment — familiarity with roles such as QA, developers, business analysts or scrum masters would be a genuine advantage
- Experience supporting a geographically dispersed team, including working across time zones
- A proactive approach to sourcing, with an ability to identify strong candidates beyond inbound applications
- Experience working within a Matrix or multi-stakeholder environment
