The Clinical Research Financial Specialist manages the cash flow of clinical study accounts, collects funds based on patient activity, and assists grant managers with financial applications.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the cash flow of a clinical study account from date of activation to date of closure
  • Collects funds based on patient activity
  • Manages payables as internal charges are incurred
  • Assists grant managers with the application of funds

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in health care cost accounting, budgeting, financial analysis and financial systems
  • Associate's degree and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in health care cost accounting, budgeting, financial analysis and financial systems
  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time experience in health care cost accounting, budgeting, financial analysis and financial systems
  • Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices
