Freelance Translator & Editor for French content at Nelson Education, responsible for translating and creating high-quality learning materials for French Immersion and Core French K-12 students across the Edwin digital platform. Key Responsibilities: Translate, write, edit, and create student and teacher-facing content in French for the Edwin platform (65% of role); manage editorial calendars, prioritize content revisions, and establish authoring guidelines in collaboration with team leads (25%); design and conceptualize content experiences across web, app, video, and interactive formats (10%). Skills & Tools: Fluent French translation and editing expertise with strong command of educational content, curriculum knowledge, and ability to work with agile development processes; experience with content management systems, HTML knowledge preferred, and proficiency with evolving EdTech software and technologies with a user-experience focus. Qualifications: Proven experience in French translation, editing, and content creation for educational or EdTech sectors; demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-intensity projects simultaneously with attention to bias-free, inclusive content development.
