Remote Answering Service Dispatcher – Afternoons EST Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Location: Remote (Work From Home) Available Shifts We are hiring 3 operators for the following shifts: Afternoon / Evening Shift
- Between 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (EST)
- 7 days per week availability
- Full-time or part-time Applicants must be able to work consistent, scheduled shifts. Pay
- $13.50 per hour during training
- $14.00 per hour after training
- Paid weekly (cash)
Job Description
We are a family-owned professional answering service seeking reliable and experienced answering service dispatchers/operators. This is a remote, work-from-home position handling inbound calls, message taking, and dispatching on-call personnel. Prior answering service or dispatch experience is strongly preferred, but not required for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls professionally and courteously
- Follow detailed, client-specific scripts and instructions
- Dispatch on-call personnel when required
- Accurately document and relay messages
- Identify emergency vs. non-emergency calls
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism Requirements
- Prior answering service, dispatch, or call center experience preferred
- Strong, reliable high-speed internet connection (required)
- Good computer skills and comfort using multiple systems at once
- Ability to type accurately and navigate software efficiently
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Quiet, private work-from-home environment
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Comfortable working independently Experience with TeleScan or similar answering service systems is a plus.
