Job Description

Plans computerized databases, including base definition, structure, documentation, long-range requirements, operational guidelines and protection. Ensures accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools, such as base dictionaries. Establishes and maintains security and integrity controls. Formulates and monitors policies, procedures and standards relating to database management. Proposes and implements enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system. May be internal or external, client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions. May include company-wide, web-enabled solutions. Roles & Responsibilities Availity is seeking a knowledgeable Cloud Database Administrator III to manage our company’s cloud-based databases. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain secure, high-availability database systems in compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH). This role is critical to ensuring data integrity, security, and performance across our cloud platforms. Eligibility Video Camera Usage: Availity fosters a collaborative and open culture where communication and engagement are central to our success. As a remote first company, we are also camera-first and provide all associates with camera/video capability to simulate the office environment.
