Chief Financial Officer, UCTS and Westwood Insurance Agency
Oversee the organization's fiscal function and performance at all levels. Publish monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and various other ad-hoc reports as needed. Oversee preparation of the Firm's regular federal, state, and local tax returns. Actively manage the balance sheet, ensuring all operational and strategic decisions are made after careful consideration of the short-term, medium-term, and long-term financial health of the business. Prepare budgets and forecasts and develop appropriate analytical tools to help proactively drive business results. Prepare the monthly Partner reporting package, including financial statements and forecasts, performance against plan, and management discussion and analysis. Ensure 100% credit agreement/covenant compliance; prepare all required lender reporting. Work with the operating company and business unit leadership team to develop key performance indicators, and create an operational dashboard to report on KPIs. Optimize the handling of banking relationships and monitor strategies to enhance cash position and maintain flexibility. Lead contracted IT staff and manage third-party vendors to support the Firm's technology needs. Provide direction and ultimate oversight of the annual review process by the Firm's third-party auditors. Evaluate, manage, and motivate direct reports with a strong emphasis on planning, organization, preparation, follow-up, and internal communication. Analyze M&A opportunities including the development of acquisition modeling, due diligence, and overall investment opportunity assessment.
