Role Overview As a Reimbursement Services Representative, you will support timely, accurate billing by confirming coverage details, resolving missing information, and keeping patient accounts current in a fully remote setting. This role exists to reduce reimbursement delays and ensure patients and payers have clear, correct documentation. Key responsibilities include: - Confirming insurance eligibility via phone and online portals - Contacting patients to obtain updated insurance details - Updating accounts with correct coverage and related invoices - Managing assigned queues, reports, emails, and denial documentation - Sending termination letters when patients cannot be reached and processing returned mail Required skills and qualifications: - Strong attention to detail and clear written communication - Professional, empathetic customer service and phone presence - Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently If you’re ready to contribute to accurate reimbursement outcomes while supporting patients with care, apply today.A Typical Day Your day begins by reviewing paper denials received by mail and organizing them for follow-up. You’ll move between online payer portals and phone calls to confirm current coverage, then document updates in the patient record so billing details align with the latest information. Throughout the day, you’ll rotate through email, system reports, and work queues to keep items moving and prevent aging accounts. When patients are difficult to reach, you’ll prepare and mail required termination letters, then log and route any returned mail appropriately.
