Together, we can reinvent anything. Job Title Junior Automation Test Analyst Job Type Full-Time Working Hours This role requires alignment to US business hours/shifts. Candidates must be comfortable working evening or rotational shifts to support US-based clients and project teams. Occasional flexibility may be required during production releases or critical deployments. Role Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Automation Test Analyst to join our QA team. The successful candidate will assist in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications, including AI/ML-driven platforms and Agentic AI solutions. This role is ideal for someone starting their career in software testing and automation, with a passion for emerging technologies, AI-powered systems, and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, API, and AI-enabled applications. Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing. Validate AI/ML model outputs for accuracy, consistency, reliability, and performance. Support testing of Agentic AI workflows, AI orchestration, and intelligent automation systems. Identify, log, track, and retest software defects. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, data engineers, and AI/ML teams to understand requirements and testing needs. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Assist in creating test plans, test cases, test data, and test reports. Support manual testing activities where required. Ensure testing documentation is accurate and up to date. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation frameworks, and AI testing practices. Learn and adopt new testing tools, AI technologies, and automation methodologies. Experience 2-4 years of experience in automation testing. Internship, certification projects, or academic exposure to AI/ML or automation testing will be advantageous. Technical Skills Basic understanding of software testing principles and SDLC/STLC. Exposure to automation testing tools such as:Selenium Cypress Playwright Appium (advantageous) Basic programming/scripting knowledge in one or more of:Java JavaScript/TypeScript Python C# Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured. Exposure to AI/ML concepts including:Machine Learning fundamentals AI model validation Prompt testing and evaluation Generative AI concepts Agentic AI workflows and intelligent agents Familiarity with AI platforms/tools such as OpenAI APIs, LangChain, Vertex AI, Azure AI, or similar technologies is advantageous. Understanding of version control systems like Git. Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps is advantageous. Basic knowledge of SQL and databases. Soft Skills Strong attention to detail. Good analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively during US shift hours. Ability to work independently and within distributed/global teams. Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving AI technologies. Good time management and organizational skills. Preferred Attributes Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. ISTQB Foundation certification or willingness to obtain certification. Exposure to AI testing frameworks or automation frameworks. Passion for quality assurance, automation, AI/ML, and emerging technologies. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Test execution and automation coverage. Defect detection effectiveness. Automation script stability and maintenance quality. Accuracy and reliability validation of AI/ML outputs. Timely completion of testing deliverables. Contribution to QA process and AI testing improvements. Working Conditions Hybrid/Remote/Onsite (as applicable). Must be comfortable working aligned to US time zones. May occasionally require support outside standard working hours during releases or critical incidents. Salary Range Market-related and dependent on experience, qualifications, and technical capability. Education Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
