Location: Peru Mode: Remote We at Coforge are hiring Senior Golang / TypeScript Engineer (#21223) with the following skill set.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain secure, highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable backend systems and AI-powered platforms on AWS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build backend services, shared experiences, and scalable workflows. Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to testing, deployment, and maintenance. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while ensuring high quality through unit and integration testing. Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to long-term system reliability improvements Required Skills & Qualifications 8+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on backend engineering and REST API development. Strong proficiency in TypeScript and hands-on experience with Golang. Experience working in Agile software development environments. Strong knowledge of software design principles including Domain Driven Design (DDD), Hexagonal Architecture, Design Patterns, and testing practices. 3+ years of experience building applications on AWS and working with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform. 3+ years of experience working with NoSQL or relational databases (RDBMS). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and secure coding practices. Ability to independently design scalable backend systems and guide technical implementation. Proven experience mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and driving technical discussions. Strong collaboration and communication skills in fast-paced Agile environments. Preferred Skills: Experience building AI or Machine Learning applications. Experience with Temporal. Experience with DevOps practices. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
