About the Company

Our client is a rapidly growing consumer products company building a premium brand across both retail and direct-to-consumer channels. Their products are manufactured internationally and distributed throughout the United States via major retail partnerships, alongside a thriving e-commerce business. In addition to retail and DTC operations, the company supports a growing commercial sales division and continues to expand its international presence. Position Overview Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Global Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations. This role will manage international freight operations, coordinate global shipments, oversee third-party logistics partners, and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of products to customers across domestic and international markets. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage international logistics operations, including ocean freight shipments from overseas manufacturing partners to U.S. ports and direct international customer shipments. Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and suppliers to ensure smooth import processes and compliance with applicable regulations. Oversee relationships with domestic and Canadian 3PL providers, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and service-level performance. Monitor inventory levels across multiple warehouse locations and collaborate with demand planning teams to implement replenishment strategies that prevent stockouts and excess inventory. Analyze shipping costs, transit times, and operational performance to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings. Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics and fulfillment operations. Partner cross-functionally with demand planning, sales, marketing, operations, and customer experience teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives. Resolve logistics challenges, including shipment delays, damages, and inventory discrepancies. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time delivery, order accuracy, inventory performance, and shipping costs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3–7+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or operations, preferably within e-commerce, consumer goods, or retail environments. Experience managing international shipments and working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and import/export processes. Familiarity with U.S.-based 3PL operations, warehouse management systems (WMS), and ERP platforms. Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis. Excellent communication, organizational, and vendor management skills. Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience within the fitness, wellness, consumer products, or retail industries. Knowledge of inventory planning and demand forecasting processes. Experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite and e-commerce platforms such as Shopify.
