Senior Quality Assurance Technician

Our client is a leader in advanced manufacturing, renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Technician to join our esteemed production team in Denver, Colorado, US . This role is critical in ensuring that all manufactured products meet stringent quality standards and customer specifications. You will be responsible for overseeing and implementing comprehensive quality control procedures throughout the production lifecycle, from raw material inspection to final product validation. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, statistical quality control techniques, and various testing methodologies. You will conduct regular inspections, identify non-conforming products, and lead investigations into the root causes of quality issues. Your expertise will be vital in developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to continuously improve product quality and reduce defects. This hybrid role requires a balance of on-site presence for hands-on inspection and process oversight, along with the flexibility for remote analysis and reporting. Responsibilities include: Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance procedures and standards. Performing detailed inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods using various precision measurement tools and equipment. Analyzing quality data, identifying trends, and generating comprehensive reports for management. Leading root cause analysis for quality failures and implementing effective corrective actions. Collaborating with production, engineering, and R&D teams to ensure product quality and process consistency. Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001). Mentoring and training junior QA staff. Staying updated with the latest advancements in quality assurance technologies and methodologies. Contributing to process improvement initiatives to enhance overall operational efficiency and product reliability. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing). Proficiency in using inspection and testing equipment. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
