Job Description

This position is responsible for assisting with the design and deployment of customized Quanum Enterprise Content Management (ECM) business process automation solutions, achieving our customer's unique process improvement objectives. This includes working through the full development life cycle including analysis, specification, design, development, testing, implementation and support. The Workflow Consultant must be able to learn technologies and business issues / resolutions quickly, make business recommendations that fit customer needs, and work to deliver and support the business process automation solution in a timely, professional manner. The Workflow Consultant participates in cross-functional teams, supporting several concurrent projects and provides second-tier support to the Quanum ECM support area.

Pay Range:$80,000 - $90,000 / year Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform current state and future state operational analysis, which is used to assist in building the customer's business processes, consistent with Quanum Enterprise Content Management (EDM) System functionality.
  • Design, develop, and deploy Quanum ECM business automation solutions to customers which include, but are not limited to the following:

Workflow maps using the Quanum ECS workflow toolkit intelligent eForms using OpenText Liquid Office Form Designer Business Process Management workflows using OpenText Liquid Office Suite Intelligent Data Capture Scanning batch classes UNIX shell and Perl scripts

  • Prepare supporting documentation on the Quanum ECS workflow features and functionality, Intelligent eForms, and the BPM solution
  • Participate in internal process improvement and design initiatives

Qualifications

Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field Work Experience: 2+ years' experience as a developer or QA engineer in the software industry Healthcare experience or vendor experience focused on enterprise healthcare applications Physical and Mental Requirements: Perform job duties with frequent interruptions or distractions Adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate. Ability to interact professionally with colleagues and/or customers for different purposes in different contexts. Maintain composure under pressure Performs a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another Ability to comprehend and follow verbal or written instructions Using effective verbal communication Using effective written communication Other: Superior listening and problem resolution skills Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously Ability to use Microsoft Office products - Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Self-directed, with considerable initiative Ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with co-workers, departments, preferably customers and vendors Strong organizational and prioritization skills Creative design skills for visualizing new workflow processes Familiarity with SQL, Relational Databases, Java, JavaScript, and/or UNIX Shell Employee must have the ability to operate an automobile; driver's license and proper insurance are required.

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%
